Dr Peter Grindrod
Dr Peter Grindrod is a planetary scientist at London’s Natural History Museum specialising in terrestrial planets and icy moons. His research combines experiments, theory and spacecraft observations to better understand the geological evolution of solar system bodies. He focuses on the history of water and habitability on Mars, exploring how the planet’s landscape has changed over time.
Peter is passionate about engaging the public with planetary science. He’s led school masterclasses, virtual reality expeditions and STEM outreach activities to bring the wonders of space exploration to new audiences. Working with breathtaking spacecraft images, he helps reveal Mars in unprecedented detail, uncovering its secrets one discovery at a time.
