Meet your scientist
Talay Namintraporn
Talay is the curatorial assistant in the beelte section of the Natural History Museum, London. Talay works primarily on African beetles for the Africa Project which is focused on recording the African biodiversity of beetles. Her work involves specimen processing, including sorting and mounting of specimens as well as labelling specimens for incorporation into the collection.
Talay also helps the beetle (Coleoptera) team with general curatorial tasks as well as outreach to engage the public about the 8-10 million beetle specimens housed in the museum.
