Dr Regan Drennan
Dr Regan Drennan is a Postdoctoral researcher, based full-time at the Natural History Museum London as part of the Deep-Sea Systematics and Ecology research group. Regan’s work focuses on investigating the diversity and evolution of Antarctic benthic annelid worm communities in the Southern Ocean, particularly in areas covered or recently covered by ice.
She have a background in annelid taxonomy, systematics, and molecular phylogenetics, with previous work on largely undescribed deep-sea annelid faunas from abyssal plain environments where deep-sea mining may occur in the near future.
